My car went in for its MOT in Monday, and failed!
It failed on two things:
- The offside constant velocity joint gaiter is split
- And the nearside MacPherson strut has excessive movement
There was also an advisory saying that the offside MacPherson strut has slight movement.
Luckily she passed the emissions!
I’ve now got 10 days to get the faults fixed and take the car back in for a free retest.
I reckon you should think about getting a brand spanking new car. Didn’t Tony get like 1k off a brand new Corsa? Maybe you should get one.
@Scott
Was that a part exchange? Because I would be lucky to get 500 if I part exchanged.
It shouldn’t cost too much to get it all fixed.
